Instructions for Printing the Proposal without Headers & Footers |

Internet Explorer uses codes to designate the various elements to include in the headers and footers when printing pages from the Internet. To turn off and on the information printed at the top and bottom of the proposal pages follow these instructions. |

Deleting Headers and Footers |
| |
To prevent elements of the headers and footers from printing, follow these instructions.
- From the File menu, select Page Setup. The Page Setup dialog box appears.
- In the Headers and Footer text box, you will see the codes you are currently using. You might want to write this down so you can reset it later.
- From the Header and Footer text boxes, delete the code that you do not want to appear on your printed page
- Click OK
- Proceed with printing

Resetting the Headers and Footers with Codes |

If after you have deleted the code for the headers and footers you would now like to print a header or footer, you can reset those elements you would like to print.
- From the File menu, select Page Setup. The Page Setup dialog box appears.
- Under the Header and Footer text box, type in the desired code
- Click OK
- Proceed with printing

Instructions for Saving Proposal to Email to Client |

- From the File menu, select Save As...
- In Save in: browse to find the file folder you want to use
- In File Name: add the name of client
- In Save as type: select: Web Page, HTML only (*.htm, *.html)
- Create an email and insert the file you have saved as an attachment.

Note:
These codes are case sensitive. Capitalizing the wrong letter may give you a different header/footer than you wanted. |
